Welcome to my portfolio.  If you're interested in leveraging new innovations in learning design, then I'm your man. I've been the lead eLearning guru in every organization I've been with and have always dedicated myself to building successful teams and mentoring co-workers for success. I've had titles such as Instructional Technologist, Instructional Systems Specialist, Senior Instructional Designer,  eLearning Consultant, Learning Strategist and Program Manager.  I am progressive thinker who can identify and leverage tools such as LMS features, animations, and gamification - among others, to connect the dots to learning initiatives to maximize its return. I promote rapid prototyping, or agile learning as it is referred to now, to allow for programs to be easily adaptable, customized, or revised/updated quickly and easily.

What makes a learning project one that is fun, engaging and hits the mark with regards to knowledge retention?  That's it - fun and engaging!  Games, the ability to test out, interactivity, immersive learning....these all provide motivation, fun and place the learner in a comfortable learning environment for which they can learn, and retain that knowledge.  So a simple way to look at it is; if they enjoy it, they will learn it.

I've been working on lots of great stuff lately:  microlearnings, playlists,  leaderboards, animations, onboarding interfaces for blended learning programs, dynamic learner resources, and much, much more. Check out a couple of demos I've developed using gaming and animated scenarios below. I'm even published in ADT for co-authoring an article titled: Managing Content Overload (Sept. 2019).  I work mainly in Articulate Storyline, but also frequently whip up simulations in Adobe Captivate and Camtasia.  In fact, I've been able to successfully integrate Captivate into Storyline by passing variables using a little Java Script.  Are you interested in an interactive onboarding program that time-releases online courseware when the learner is ready for it -and includes avatars and a gaming console for self-directed learning?  Well, I've done that, and it was a huge success.  How about the gamification of compliance courses and adaptive learning designs  - with a Leaderboard?  I've done that also, and the learners love it.  It's cost and time efficient, will save your organization tons of money..... and it's fun!  If you'd like to see more, check out the breakouts below.  There's even a couple of complete courses you can click through.  If you'd like to learn more about me, that's under the About tab.  Go ahead, check it out.
